The two types of Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals they play an important rule in the regulation of metabolism , the prevention of desieses PH cell generation heart beat and over all physical and mental well being.


Their are two different types

You have water soluble vitamins sutch as b complex vitamins like biotin vitamin c is also a water soluble vitamin that get lost through bodyily fluids sutch as sweat and urine and need to be replenished on a daily basis. You also have fat soluble vitamins like , vitamin D , A and vitamin K these are stored in the body and not as easily lost as water soluble vitamins so don't need daily replenishment.

Minerals are also in two forms micro minerals and macro minerals 

You need lager amounts of macro minerals.

Foods high in micronutrients are called nutrient dense food , the lower the calorie count in comparison to its vitamin /mineral count the more nutrient dense the food is.

It's always more preferable to get your vitamins and minerals in foods instead of suppliments as the effectiveness of using suppliments is not reliable.
